The Windows installer is code-signed, so Windows will show Interapp Development, Inc. as the publisher. A brand new release can still draw a SmartScreen prompt until enough people have downloaded it — choose More info then Run anyway, or ask us if you'd rather check first. The Mac build is notarized by Apple, so Gatekeeper opens it with no extra step.
What happens when you run it
- Install and open Quietlight. The 7-day trial begins on that first launch, on that machine — even with no internet connection.
- Point it at a folder and press Start. Nothing is held back during the trial — drive every screen the machine has, for as long as you like.
- When the seven days are up, nothing dramatic happens. Quietlight asks for a license before starting a new show — a running show is never interrupted, and your folders and settings stay put. Buying a license picks up exactly where the trial left off.
